These terms are an agreement between you and Dr. Vikrant Azad ("we", "us"), the developer of MyCaseLog, a personal surgical logbook app. By tapping "I Agree" in the app or by using MyCaseLog, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
MyCaseLog is a personal logbook for surgeons: a place to record your surgical cases, follow-ups, statistics, notes, CME, and related professional records, with an on-device AI assistant.
MyCaseLog is a professional tool intended for surgeons and surgical trainees. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and your device secure.
Patient-identifying fields you record are encrypted with a key that only you hold, protected by your recovery phrase. If you lose your recovery phrase and your signed-in devices, that encrypted data cannot be recovered — by anyone, including us. Keep your recovery phrase somewhere safe.
Some features are shared by design: templates you publish to the shared library, events you post to the community noticeboard (which are moderated), and research projects you may be invited to join (opt-in only, de-identified — see the Privacy Policy). Anything you publish must be professional, lawful, and free of patient-identifying information. We may remove shared content that violates these terms.
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to access other users' data, no interfering with or overloading the service, no reverse-engineering the app beyond what the law permits, and no uploading malicious content.
MyCaseLog is currently in beta and free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features as it develops. A paid tier may be introduced in the future; if that happens, you will be told clearly in the app before anything is charged, and your existing data remains yours and exportable regardless.
You may stop using MyCaseLog at any time and may request deletion of your account and synced data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access for accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 1, 4, and 9–11 survive termination.
MyCaseLog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Beta software can fail: keep your own exports of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of MyCaseLog. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (during the free beta: zero, to the extent the law allows).
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections of the place you live.
If we materially change these terms, the app will show you the updated version and ask you to review and accept it before you continue. The version and date at the top identify the current terms.
Questions about these terms: use Settings → Help & Support in the app, or email mycaselogapp@gmail.com.
